This 1 day introduction covers the key aspects of Scrum that will allow delegates of all project roles to participate effectively with Scrum projects.

Background

Scrum is one of the Agile frameworks that use simple techniques to organize more productive teams and get work done to a specified quality.  The amount of work to be done and how best to do it is chosen by the team thereby providing a more enjoyable and productive working environment.

Scrum focuses on providing early business benefit by prioritising work based on business value, thus improving the usefulness of what is delivered, and increasing early return on investment. Furthermore, as with all Agile frameworks, using Scrum allows the team to adapt to changing requirements during the project at regular intervals.
